We can all agree when I say shopping for men is difficult! The longer I’ve been with my husband, the harder it has gotten to think of new and creative gifts. Valentine’s Day looks different for everyone. Finding useful gifts that the amazing man in your life will like and use can be challenging.
To put this list together, I made my husband think back on every gift I have ever given him and tell me which ones stood out the most. We even went back through our Amazon account to see every purchase we’ve made since 2016!
Every gift listed below has his stamp of approval! So, if you’re stuck looking for the perfect gift, the following items are verified gifts for any guy.

THE BEST USEFUL VALENTINE’S DAY GIFTS FOR HIM:
1. Ugg Sweatpants
If you’ve ever purchased men’s clothing online, you know how bare the review section can be. It can be frustrating because I tend to avoid items with no reviews. When I tell you, these reviews sold me on these pants… I MEAN IT! We ended up purchasing these three more times afterward. They are buttery soft and cozy but lightweight at the same time. They wash and dry perfectly and have held up over the years.
2. Ugg Slippers
I have worn my Ugg slippers for about a decade now, and they are still in perfect shape! I even tossed them in the washing machine once because they got dusty while our house was under construction and looked brand new. Now, my husband loves cozy items just as much as I do, so these slippers were a perfect gift for him.
3. Trucker Hat
Everything single one of my husband’s hats seemed to be advertising a different brewery. If the man in your life is anything like mine, their clothing is a walking billboard. So, when he asked me to find him a new trucker styled hat, I thought these would be the perfect basic hat. They even come in 20 different colors!
4. Smart Notebook
This smart notebook is so cool! It’s a reusable notebook that scans your work to your phone, computer, or email so you can electronically save your work. So, my husband loves techy gifts, but I tend to get nervous about surprising him with anything like that because they tend to be so expensive. When I stumbled upon this notebook, I was skeptical but it has worked great.
5. Apple Airpods Pro
By now, most people have heard of Airpods and are either for it or against it. We are obsessed with ours. Since we both work from home, we have AirPods 24/7 for meetings, podcasts, music, and Netflix.
6. Airpod Leather Case
If your man is an Airpods guy, then this leather case could be the perfect pairing 🙂
7. Stanley Cup
We are big water drinkers in our household, and insulated cups are very important. We don’t own a Stanley cup (yet), but I hear they are amazing! Over the last year, these Stanley travel bottles have been the talk of the town.
8. Bose Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker
This speaker has crazy good sound for how small it is. Honestly, I was so impressed when we first used it. We needed a compact BlueTooth speaker to bring to the beach, and this speaker was perfect for that. It’s durable, waterproof, and has a decent battery life.
9. Cell Phone Stand
At this point, I have converted half my family to these little phone stands. Buy this right now, and you won’t regret it!!! If you know someone who likes to use their phone at their desk, in the kitchen, or while getting ready in the morning, they could use this stand.
10. Apple AirTag
We’ve never used these before, but we need to invest in some. I hear life hacks of people putting these in their luggage for air travel or hooking them on their keys and wallets. It seems so handy for those who are more forgetful.
11. Squatty Potty
Hear me out… we all should be using these, but the typical plastic Squatty Potty is somewhat ugly. Now, they have a bamboo version that is kind of cute!
12. Digital Picture Frame
This gift seems perfect for those in long distance relationships or those who aren’t into social media. It’s a digital frame that’s cute, and it hooks up to your phone. You or multiple members can drop photos anywhere in the world.
13. Smart Lights
These customizable lights are great for those creative tech lovers or DIY-ers. They are perfect for accent lighting in your bedroom or office space and are controllable by your phone.
14. Shoulder and Neck Massager
This heated neck and back massager is the perfect gift if your man needs some relaxation. As someone who has dealt with back pain, this massager looks wonderful.
15. Apple Watch
From the workout guru to the tech lover, this watch could be an excellent gift for any guy. I have been a big watch gal for years and love my smartwatch. It’s an investment, but I’ve been wearing my watch daily for over three years.
16. Book Light
My husband and I love to read, and this is hands down the best book light I have ever used. It has three levels for brightness and two arms to position the light exactly where you need it. A bonus is the clip on the base of the light can be used as a bookmark. If you would like to include a book with your gift, you can check out my Book Reviews for popular books.
17. Kindle Paperwhite
A Kindle is a perfect gift for a book lover. This e-reader can hold hundreds of books and has a great battery life. In the long run, you can save money with all the free downloadable books. I love to travel with mine.
18. TV Fire Stick
Here is an excellent option for those with streaming needs. In addition to our Netflix habit, we are big fans of the JackBox games through our fire stick. This little device is great to travel with and can easily be transferred to any TV.
19. Candle
Who doesn’t love a wonderful smelling candle?! Plus, it hides a lot of that stinky boy smell 🙂
20. Ring Smart Doorbell
We love love love love our smart doorbell. It saved us many times, especially when our entire house was under construction and while we were selling our house. It was so comforting knowing who was coming and going from our home.
21. Smart Outlets
Some people do some cool things with home automation, but we put all our lamps on timers through these smart outlets! I love it, especially when we’re away! We even used it for our Christmas tree.
22. Alexa Smart Speaker
Now, you don’t need an Alexa to use your smart outlets because you can control it directly from you phone. However, if you want to use voice commands, you will need a smart “home.” We like to use our Alexa to control these outlets, play music, or answer random questions.
23. 12-in-1 Hammer Multitool
This 12-in-1 tool is a great gift for the practical type. It seems like every dad has one of these things in the glove box of their car. My dad even gave me one of these for my 16th birthday.
24. Meta Quest 2 VR Headset
This gift is a massive splurge, but it is so cool! I love playing the Beat Saber game. It’s fun and a good workout too. It brings me back to the good ole Just Dance or DDR days.
25. Wireless Charging System
A functional charging system is a great way to organize your bedside table. I need to invest in one of these because I hate seeing all of the various chords on the side of our bedside tables.
26. We’re Not Really Strangers Card Game
This game prompts some deep talks. Be warned, ha! When we played this game, we talked about some fun memories and gave funny opinions.
27. Catan Board Game
Our family is big on Catan. We really enjoy playing this game and I believe most people could learn to enjoy it as well.
28. Under Desk Treadmill
As I type this post, I am on my under the desk treadmill, and I love it! After three years of working from home, I wish I had gotten one of these sooner. I am so much more focused and productive while I walk and work. On top of it all, it’s healthier! Win-win!
29. Foam Roller
These rollers are not only great for your back. This is the perfect gym bag addition for rolling out your hamstrings and lats as well.
30. Humidifier
Since moving to Colorado, this humidifier has been a lifesaver. We run this thing every night and wake up feeling much better and well rested.
31. Dewalt 4-Tool Starter Kit
This suggestion came directly from my husband. He loved receiving a starter tool kit when we first got married. Little did we know… We would end up using this kit excessively during our total home renovation.
32. Snoop Dogg Cookbook
You know that hypothetical question, “If you would have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?” Well, Snoop Dogg would be at my dinner table. I love his music and the episodes of Snoop cooking with Martha Stewart. So, what’s better than a cookbook by him??
33. Yeti Can Koozie
We drink about six cans of sparkling water in our house every day. We love to keep ours cold and even travel with them. I even plan on packing ours for our beach trip later this year. Perhaps it’s an unhealthy obsession, but there are worse things in life.
34. Battery Organizer
Another practical gift for the win! I dream of knowing where our batteries are and which ones are stocked up.
